2013 has just ended and we wanted to do an some analysis of the best photo editing Android applications that have hit the market during the year.
This time we will show you what has been up with the stage of photo editing applications that have seen the light and been well received by the public, having significant updates as well. So we will review three popular applications selected by us. The selection was made so that those apps would be the most significant in this category.
Third place: Pixlr Express
Autodesk has released Pixlr Express for Android, a new version of its popular photo editing application featuring a new icon and a new home screen that shows a blurry background with the last image you have opened with the editor.
Also noteworthy is the new option to open the last image we have taken, and among other things, this is a very powerful tool for creating collages.
Secondly, we have VSCO
VSCO Cam brings us to our Android devices processing technology from VSCO(Visual Supply Company), known in the industry for their photo editing presets for Lightroom, Aperture or Adobe Camera Raw.
We can take pictures directly from your application and edit our pictures with different presets and tools that allow us to adjust exposure, temperature, contrast, saturation, tones, rotate and crop the image, and much more.
And the winner is: Snapseed
This year we have seen that the implementation of Nik Software (acquired by Google) has received several updates: like the arrival of new filters or HDR as Retrolux Scape, and even the ability to work with high resolution images.
In fact we have also seen the dyes and certain features of Snapseed reflected on Android 4.4 and the editing capabilities offered in Pictures and Gallery. Therefore we have decided almost unanimously that Snapseed is the best photo editing application of 2013.
